LOL.... " Stamp in" ??? What does that do, except show that you were in that country. Can't be tracked by a rubber stamp....
I visited Italy about 20 times, sometimes my passport was stamped, sometimes not. I left for Budapest ( train from Venice), no " stamp out ... It is quite different than fingerprinting ( which up to now was used mainly for criminal cases and high securitu jobs)... Same with France and even same with USA ( stamp in entering from Guatemala into Miami, but no stamp out back to Canada...).
Anyway, I agree with Carrie... If you are going to impose a system, impose it across the board to close all flaws. It would be less insulting to citizens of countries that don't have " visa waiver".
The scary part of this is what is this neocon government going to do with the data collected... Huuummmmm.....
