Its not just hip hop or r&b its the whole musical world . Only couple guys really start something from scratch . If a hit was successfull in the 70s then its still gonna be succesfull now if you market it right . Right now hip hop is the best marketing . Dre and eminem are getting sued all the time for sample . Same for p diddy.
