Lived next door to a self server for a year, never saw anyone take anything.
Nice business, very profitable if in a good location (major street or interesection). Runs 24/7. Nice place for upsells (vending machines, pay phones, etc.) If you're worried, put a security camera and hook it up to the internet and watch from home
Laudremats do well, but you have to have wash and fold to compete these days. Means an employee or subcontractor.
