1. Tell them it will be a good way to promote their band because you will give them exposure in the credits/on the art.
2. Tell them you will give them a few copies of the DVD.
3. Make sure they sign valid contracts, so they can't turn around and sue you if they ever get big.
4. You should not have to pay $500 per song for unknown bands, unless they have an asshole manager who thinks he's a big player.
