You could first try right clicking on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controller" and goto "Scan for hardware changes"
ok, tried that and still no luck. i'm also unable to connect to windows updates or the dell driver installation page, which is strange cause i can load other pages with no problem. Any other ideas?
