Some of these logos are killer but they wouldn't degrade well to things like t-shirt printing.
Almighty yours is sweet but looks a bit fuzzy.
Galleryseek that last one looks like "District Porn" rather than "Porn District" - I know there's a design factor involved but you also have to design for stupid people to easily grasp and remember.
Alien I give credit when it's due - sweet work shown here. Not sure it would degrade to t-shirt design well, though. (So many colors and blending.)
The ones that are really clean, like the original green license plate, are best if you're planning on using it with different mediums.
Folks, think of things like Tide, Apple, even M$'s flying windows or butterfly (MSN) logos.
Clean and simple... less filters, more emphasis on bold, bright, crisp and instant visual memorization.
The real test of a good designer is one that can make an eye-catching, impact design without using any filters and special effects. (Not that I can make one, but I sure can recognize it when I see it!)
