Excuse me Missy, but I knew his family lived down here and all I told him was that I wanted a few hours on Xmas eve or Xmas day, he left a message saying he would see me and never showed because his mother spazed on him. The "choice" came after he did that to me on Xmas and blew me off the following 4 days. He knew I could have made a road trip to see my Aunt, but we were getting along so well I wanted to see him for the holidays and my Aunt encouraged that and told me to visit her for New Years so you can get off your high horse.
