He ain't overpriced. A good consultant and/or sysadmin is definitly worth that kind of money.

Rudeboi, not questioning your skillz, but I have to disagree with you.
Nowadays it's getting harder and harder to get a job without the 'right' certifications. I found out myself a while ago, when I was looking for a job, that companies find it hard to select personnel and use certifications and stuff more and more as criteria.
I know that, most of the times, it says nothing about the real quality, but as a lot of companies lack the knowledge to select people on skillz, so they go for the education/certifications.

Just my advice, as you already have the knowledge consider taking an exam. You probably don't need a bootcamp or something, just a good book ( I can hook you up with some testexams if you want) and the exam. Costs and effort shouldn't be that high/big and the cert + your experience will make you a perfect candidate for anyone looking for some good skillz and knowledge.

Anyway, just my 2 cents based on my own experience.
