You paid $15,000 for an email list, and want a refund, or am I misunderstanding? If that's it, it seems like a simple civil case. If the sales agreement says you're entitled to a refund for any reason, or for some objective criteria which the list failed to meet,
it's a no brainer. Court costs should be under $5000, plus Melissa will probably have to cover your legal costs anyway.
