IBM prior art for acacia opponents if not to late...

Tried to find an easy/quick way to submit it to IMPA site but couldn't any relevant link. Might be too late as there in court already, but anyway, just in case this helps....

In 1990 I worked for IBM Hursley (UK IBM headquarters). I was a programmer in a team writing a package called 'Person 2 Person'. It was a video conferencing suite including Lan/Internet (modem connection) transfer using compressed video (I.E. Realtime streaming). It included ability to store and replay video. I.E. create a library of ondemand video clips viewable over LAN/modem. I can't remember whether it was simple modem2modem or had Internet capability. When I joined in 1990, the program had already been under development for at least a year, and even more in the design phase (at the time this was pretty cutting edge). God knows when the project actually started, but it must have been before 1989.

That program was pretty big, won awards, integrated into OS/2 Warp etc. There must be documentation somewhere about it.

If this is useful to anyone, I suggest you simply write to IBM UK Hursley and get a copy of the red paper on it etc.

One downside, prolly IBM has a trillion patents linked to this stuff, which might not be good.

Can't believe I forgot I was writing this stuff back then
