the only way i could see something like this working and being profitable is if these new pay download sites have affiliate programs. like this 'puretunes' thing i keep hearing about. have some mp3s on the site to entice and then try and sell them a membership to puretunes for a commission. i used to make music sites before i did porn sites, they never made me any money aside from the odd check from valueclick banners. this was before mp3s tho.
