However on Sunday usually people have already spent Friday and/or Saturday night going to dinner movies etc...and Sunday is a day usually spent hanging out around the house resting getting ready for the next week...so what happens is I would notice more sniping going on at the end of a Sunday auction.

I sold alot of multiple items that ended on different days. Alot of these items I already had pretty much a "retail" price in mind so I was starting auctions 7 days a week and as long as they made that set price I was cool with it...but ALWAYS...those items would pull in more money closing on Sunday.

So let me sum it up for the originator of this thread.

Start the auction so it will end on a Sunday. Make sure you start it at a time so that way it ends around 9-11pm eastern standard time.

Why? Because if you do that then you catch those east coasters before they go to bed bidding one last time.

You catch those in the central and mountain time zones right in the middle of the evening, and you will catch those in the pacific time zone just as they start their evening.
Great post! Thanks a lot...I appreciate it!
