Not to mention GG has like 30,000 sites in his link listings (just a wild guess), all of whom are linking to him. There are likely 5 times that in sites linking to him that AREN'T in his database, some old forgotten sites that still get traffic, freehosted pages etc. It all adds up.

One would imagine the search engine traffic would be pretty good for a long-established site with that kind of popularity.
