I think the people were giving you good comments... not just dissing you for the sake of it.
I never ask people for their opinion unless i'm willing to take the bad things they have to say for what they are, and I sure as hell never challenge what they have to say, it's their opinion. When you defend your question, it shows you werent really looking for advice at all just praise... that never works.
