I've also had an ovarian cyst (a painful one) for a couple of years and several abnormal PAPs, including one that was moderately dysplastic (the first step before cancer, the nurse said when she called) and that was 6 years ago. But I just can't afford to take time off from work to get this done.

Yuckie! I'm a hemopheliac, I'm having another c-section (this will be my third section), and I also have endometreosis. The scar tissue worries my doc because it can turn cancerous, and with the chance of me bleeding out he figures it's easier to just take it all than to try to get it to heal (less to cauterize too), especially since I will need a hysto eventually anyways. Sorry to hear about all YOUR trouble! As if having a newborn isn't hard enough, but being continually tired from blood loss makes it worse! I can sympathize! I bled into my abdomen for 8+ months after my last two and I always felt ready to faint. Best of luck if you do get it though! I'm sure you will be relieved, and just think, no more periods!
