Its best to introduce them on 'neutral territory' so that dog #1 doesn't feel like its 'territory' is being invaded.
Not all dogs will accept a second one in the family, but on the other side of the coin, some will accept a second dog without blinking an eye.

I don't see Kylie getting too jealous, so long as she has access to the puppy as well.
