Bitches is now such a colourless word now though, can be used in the same way as "Buddy" IMO
As in:
"Fucking buddy rearended me at a stop sign, so I got out and whupped him"
Or:
"I have to pick my buddy up at work, his battery is dead"
One of those words that can have a positive or negative meaning. Examples with bitches:
"Fucking bitch at the office told my boss that I shit in the printer tray, now I'm fucked"
Or
"Damn, Drinking Hard knows some mighty fine bitches!"
