and people that get up during the movie for whatever reason and walk in front of me
thats why I used a spare bedroom, hung a 100 inch screen on one wall, got a dlp projector, nice sound system, some theater seats... and no phone is allowed in there either, and thankfully I can even hear the other phone ring in there or someone would get screamed at for calling during the movie
I think for me, my wife, and my kid to go to a movie costs like $45 by the time you buy the tickets, drinks, popcorn/whatever and tip the valet. Then you gotta sit in a room with people, and it never fails, someone is gonna be loud or do something to disturb you.
Can grab a new release DVD for $20 and watch it at home, whenever I want, and not have the displeasure of being around idiots. Sure I have to wait for the movies to hit DVD but by that time I've already heard if it sucks or not.
