I do recall the Pope in the 30's and 40's being soft on nazism too, and looking the other way at a lot of Germany's atrocities.....
You can't be spineless in the face of evil. And you can't be spineless when dealing with Sadaam and his fate, and cloak it in phony moral righteousness.
Some people get what they deserve and deserve what they get.
And Sadaam will thus.
He will get death at the hands of the ppl he butchered, enslaved, stole from, and tortured.
Its what every despot and terrorist deserve.
