Colin's Colon's Cool, Prostate Perished
U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell called his deputy twice before 7 a.m. and was full of "spit and vinegar" a day after prostate cancer surgery, Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage has said.
Powell, 66, underwent successful surgery to remove his prostate on Monday and was expected to make a full recovery and return to work full-time early next year, although he was already talking business with Armitage on Tuesday morning.
"He's full of spit and vinegar this morning. He's already called me twice before 7 o'clock," Armitage told NBC's Today Show. "I think that's an indication that he's just fine."
