The prices have really come down on them..... you can pick up a single one that does 2 burgers for like $20.... the one I have cooks 5 I think and I only paid $60 for it...... and they have a bigger one as well, and I think that one is $100..... so not bad.
And taste isn't sacrificed if it is done right........ I am not into burgers cooked on it because they are so damn dry you'll choke to damn death... but for everything else, they are great. Just marinate your meat first and you won't lose any taste.
