My son plays the sax, keyboards, etc.. alot by ear.

He's got a student quality alto sax, a decent intermediate quality tenor sax (both yamaha's I believe). He's now wanting a soprano sax. I'm looking for a middle of the road rich sounding sax and I'm not getting much help from the local music stores. They either want to sell me student models or $4000 custom models.

Any sax players out there?
