You know since I came to North America I've noticed one thing, the news is so US-centric. Don't you guys get world news that's not propaganda-ized?

I've visited many countries in the world, but only in North America is the news so inflamatory to stir up the emotions of it's people to do the bidding of the administration.

I'm starting to wonder if there's any point in having a president, who is really only the yes-man for the administration. History has shown us that if a president gets into power that doesn't agree with the administration, there are ways found to silence him.

I think that the U.S. should cut it's expenditure to their military forces a little and spend a bunch more on education. Perhaps if the "most intelligent" people in the world had the same level of education the rest of the world had, then perhaps there would be a lot more tolerance for other cultures and beliefs and there would be less hatred towards them.

But that's not a beef at the U.S. people, that's a beef at the U.S. administration. Some of my greatest friends are from the U.S. but it still astounds me that a country can spend more on defence of their country than on educating it's people. If the people had more education, there wouldn't be such a need for the extensive military power you have.
