It's really badass - they laminate layers of emulsions on top of each other and each pixel is a really small LED. The screens will come in sheets and get mounted in a matrix type mounting. The only problem I see is that the LED's may not have a great lifespen (especially the blue ones) and you can't fix it, it has to be completely replaced. I don't know the latest on the technology but it is the future. I forget who told me this at the NAB show but someone said a bigscreen will be under a grand.
Huh? That doesn't sound right, isn't the half-life of a typical LED about 25 years?

(That is, in 25 years of cumulative operation it will be outputting half the level of light as when it was new...)
