I use MSN from time to time - has a promise but I hate the fucker - MS never fails to make the most annoying app... can't turn it down, too much memory, etc.
Miranda takes 400KB of memory when it's minimized. I have 512MB RAM so I don't care that much but it's a matter of principle - MSN SUX
