Take all the digs you like my dear, it's not going to affect your business or mine either way, but I'm still waiting for you to tell everyone ELSE in the thread it's about "taking digs at you" when they mention the same thing. Normally I wouldn't even care but I have continued to get your emails (or did until I filtered them out). Hell, I've even sent people to you on occasion, so I must be intimidated by your "threat" to my business. I've butted heads with Paul Markham more times than I can count and I've sent people to him too when he has what they need (and he's also never accused me of attempting to make it all about competition either, he knows better, or at least I'd hope). How about you address the issue at hand instead and perhaps remove the people that are complaining the hardest from your list? :P And I have yet to see here where I've bashed your content or services in any way. My ONLY complaint has EVER been regarding your emails.
The only reason I mentioned MY email list is for comparison. If you aren't bulk mailing, shouldn't it be impossible for the people who didn't confirm to get the email? If I'm incorrect, please correct me and I will be more than happy to apologize for any error. But if that's the case, I'd LOVE to know who has access to my email address aside from me, since I run my own mailserver and always have.
