I bet not..i bet you take that signup send them a confirnation email and go on.
When someone takes the time to fill out their name, address, credit card info, etc. They don't need anything more than a confirmation telling them their purchase was successful.

E-mail lists are a bit different. It's too easy for anyone to simply enter an e-mail address. With all the spam I get one little notice that looks like spam would get ignored like the rest of 'em. If you're taking the time to send a notice, why not include a link that MUST be confirmed before the name is added?

BTW, I also get e-mails from you (3 of them) that were never signed up for to e-mail addresses that never get used for anything but are (actually WERE) listed on a website page. No need to complain, my e-mail filters just auto delete them. I don't bother with remove links, too many of them just end you up on a hundred other spam lists. Not saying that yours does, but why risk it when I can simply auto-delete.
