It's disgusting. I treat it the with the same regard I would a bigot or a racist.
Sales text is one thing - hell, my wife types up most of the stuff for her site - cum loving slut, blah, blah, blah. But here on GFY you see the other, real side of it all too often. From-the-hip degradation - sometimes patently untrue and said SOLEY to make a degrading statement.
In essence, some guys who obviously hate women.
This is the type of behaviour we see with occassional SURFERS. I guess some of those guys decided to become 'webmasters.'
I note it every time I see it, and if I know about it - I don't do business with those who act this way. One content provider, in fact, on this very thread, will never get a dime from me.
Why? Because it says a lot about the person - and everything it says is ugly.
Oh, and as a note - some might think my view is in the minority - it isn't. If you are on GFY to do business, you might think twice before breaking out the 'ugly, fat, stupid , ho' yadda yadda comments. You might be surprised at the people who write you off for that kind of shit and simply won't be interested in dealing with you.
