Well your right about the first budget Clinton put 0$ into the fight of obscenity laws but actualy put 145 million to combat CP

While currently we now spend 70 million on prosecuting obscenity cases and less then 40 million on CP (he says its tied together)

And he got the money from cutting the homeland defense fund.

Do you think there is a difference there?

--> There is a difference, but marginally. The dollars are minimal, and the actual fight is against Child Porn, and obvious obscene material. Do not confuse the two. Even during Reagan's tirade, the majority of people where prosecuted for tax evasion or other trumped up charges, as obscenity is getting harder and harder to convict on (except in obvious cases). Community standards have fallen hardcore. If you are promoting beast, kiddie porn, hardcore rape, fisting, scat... I would fear the boogie man, you are breaking the current laws.

--> Additionally, everyone has motives! I find all of these 'law firms' touting this fear mongering are financially motivated. The US news thrives on fear, everything in the US thrives on fear. I learned a while ago, if you go through life with all of this needless fear, it is time to move!

But I have to totally agree that neither party are doing what needs to be done

Although I suspect our idealogies would agree no further there.

And technically speaking PBS is a MAJOR liberal media source. But with ABC a case can be made to slanting the conservative side.

--> Thank you.

And CNN is quickly moving as Fox's ratings go up and NBC is firmly in the right just not as sensationlaist as fox.

--> Before that though they saw the money in throwing up the liberal flag, WORLDWIDE.

I would put the tally more at dead even. The liberal press truly is no more. But an unbiased news group is not to be found anymore, on American soil at least.

--> Agreed, that is why I rarely watch TV in the US or pick up a newspaper.

See we do agree on most issues
