Before you seriously consider getting into this business, use the Search function on this board and any of the many other adult webmaster resource sites and do some research on these terms:

Visa
Acacia
PIBCash
shaving

There are people who have made millions in this industry who are selling everything and getting out due to the first term; even more people who are closing up shop rather than pay what they consider to be "extortion" fees to the company that is the second term. The third is a sponsor that was proven tonight to be doing the fourth term and *most* sponsors do it...

This business is literally what you put into it. The real money comes from working 16+ hours a day until you have built up enough traffic that you can literally turn the tide to any sponsor you wish at a moment's notice.
If all you have is an hour or two a day to work on it, then you're not going to see any money. Point blank. There *are* people who only work an hour or two a day making money, but they have already put in the 16+ hour days and have already built up all of their sites and traffic sources, so now they're just milking and tweaking those.

This business seems like easy money. Back in '97 it was. It isn't anymore unless you've already got your porn empire built and lots of traffic flowing in.
I know people who have literally gone a year or more without getting one signup. Most people go at least 3 months working those 16+ hour days without getting a signup, and after that they still have to keep working those long hours to make one signup *per day*.

This isn't the time to be getting into the business. Finish out the school year and revisit the adult biz around May or June when the Visa dust has settled and the major hearing with Acacia has happened, if you're intent on still doing it.
