It's one of the joys of the internet - every country is going to start trying to impose their laws on the global internet community.
I think the only advice worth listening to so far was the guy who suggested filtering your traffic - plus I would be cautious if I were you and intended on travelling to Germany at any time.
People can laugh and make jokes of this but it only takes one arrest and conviction to wipe the smiles off everybody's face. You wouldn't want to be that one conviction.
