First thing in the morning I take the pooch to the vet for an
operation...

He is getting a cyst removed from the top of his snoot.
Not a big procedure, but at his age anything involving
anesthesia is risky. Poor ol guy doesn't know that tomorrow
is gonna be a pretty shitty day for him.
