Dude, pirates are out, sexy sirens are in. I don't know what they do but it's gotta be more tolerable than canons. The "let's make Vegas a wholesome family fantasyland" movement is officially over.
Buccaneer Bay Sea Battle - The orginal show at the Treasure Island ended in July 2003. The show included canon fire flares, treasure chests flung open, powder stores lost and a ship sunk with all hands on board when the Buccaneers faced the British Navy in an action-filled performance every night. Just for those interested... the pirates always won. This show has been cancelled and is scheduled to be replaced with a sexy sirens pirate show later in the year. The Treasure Island name has also changed to TI.
I'll be at the Venetian. If it were nice weather this time of year, I'd pick based on outdoor amenities, but January in Vegas I'd rather have a ceiling painted like a nice sky than actually be outdoors.
