Unless that provider has a clause in his license that says he can revoke it when he feels like it he's got no chance. He was blowing smoke.

www.bargainbasementcontent.com is for as many sites as you want. The license on the signature site is for 10 sites.
AVS, TGP, Paysites, it's up to you.
Check the content providers licenses they are all different.
