As for me, LOTR is pretty boring movie. I'm glad I did not go to the palace to watch it. Most of my friends barely fell asleep when watching it there.
But one Russian studio made a fake translation of it. I mean that they did not translate it correctly, but made up a completelly fake dialogues, based upon local jokes and anecdotes, but managed to keep them somewhat following the storyline. Also they used other music tracks and very creative, I must say. Ramshtein rocks in scenes with Nazguls and some others. Or a track from "From Dusk till Dawn" movie during the inn scene.
It's a totall ripoff, indeed, breaks many copyrights, but funny as shit. I wached it several times, both parts and each time it was a fun. Especially cool to watch it with beer and friends
Pity that non Russian speakers can't understand it. Even if it was translated, most of jokes there are local-specific... Though some can be understood. Like Gorllum agruing with himself about which of two football teams is better.
Or this one:
Gandalf: - "Fedor (Russian name, corrupt Frodo), meet agent Smith"
Elrond: - "So Fedor, now you know kung-fu too"
