Taking the display dpwn is easy......we have a barn shed just for Christmas decorations.....each string goes in its own bag, the lights are cable tied to branches not wrapped in like a rat nest.
We can get it all down and put away in 2 days....yet it takes two people 3 weeks to get it properly placed....
Every year some wire pieces experience failure and here comes many hours of re-wiring the pieces with new lights.....we went thru over 4000 cable ties....thats the worst part.....
I get real tired of it as we put late hours at night into doing it, I don't mind the take apart....its keeping everything fired until Christmas stresses me out....
Blew a piece 2 days ago, and it was a 3 hour repair....but thank god the County judges had not come by.....
Keeping it all going in bad weather is tough as well....
But ya know what....its the most wonderful experience you can do even tho it is a big responsibility and expense....
My favorite time of the year...dunno why, I am single and not even dating.....welp....might be real soon....Im procrastinating but giving joy to the world offsets the poor me I am single blues... :-)))
