That is so wonderful! My favorite thing about Christmas is fixing an air pot full of hot chocolate and driving around the county looking at lights. I've always wanted to own my own house so I could do that too.
This year I'm buying my first house. We close next week! (YAY!) But movers are hauling all our stuff over on the 19th so I'll barely have time to get a small tree. I'm a little sad about not being able to put up any lights, but we just won't have time.
My fiance says he'll put up some icicle lights across the balcony on the front of the house and maybe over the garage if he has time. But next year... !!!
