Yeah, I find them quite depressing as well. I enjoy reading them because there's always great accounts of the "unbreakable bond" that soldiers often talk about, the love that they develope for one-another in the really shitty situations they found themselves in together... I often find my self envious of them, to be able to love someone like that would be something else
