Thank you Chris Rock. You forget two things though.
1) governments would pay top dollar for a cure for AIDS
2) in the scientific community, something drives them more than money... fame. If you were the scientist who created the cure for AIDS you would be the biggest thing since sliced bread, cover of every scientific magazine, people, us weekly news, hell probably time and national geographic.
