i agree, sadly its the rules we have to play by if you want to get listed on the tgps. i call it 'feeding the beast' lol. tho i remember back in 98-99 i had huge free sites with many galleries and movies for free which converted around 1:50 but i guess everyone was doing that back then.
also another reason would be not everyone mails, only a small percentage tho probably more than most ppl think. i wanted to get into it myself but you gotta have connections to get good lists i guess and i don't.
