Too true! I guess we stick to that old adage if it sounds too good to be true then... lol The cheaper usually just disappear faster. But paying top dollar without someone having a top dollar track record is just as silly. I always thought to get that you had to prove it first. ;-)

I just get the shivers when someone offers me something for pennies on the dollar. Makes me clutch my purse! Theres something to be said for the reliable middle of the road people.
