What? What? What? You think the world today is smaller? Are you on crack? I don't know what the stats are and don't care... the population in this world has grown out of control in some areas.
As far as the music scene goes... the competition its alot tougher. If one person like Tupac stumbles onto something and it catches on... then by next week there will be 50 Tupac wanna be's out there.
Elvis carved out a spot for himself and nobody really copied him cause they were doing their own thing. Back then there were a smaller number of bands that were popular. Today peoples music tastes vary so much that bands are fighting for cd sales, etc.
Back then you had Elvis, Beatles, Stones, Floyd, Zepplin and a few other and everyone pretty much listen to it.
Not the same world today buddy.. come into the year 2000
