half hour sounds right to me..
we usually deep fry about 5 turkeys each thanksgiving, (were not fat, we just have a biiig family) .. you've never experienced thanksgiving until you've had a louisiana redneck deep fried turkey..
that's about all my redneck uncles are good for... cooking
