Some languages just carry too much meaning and history. And as always, most americans are ignorant and they don't realize.
My friend, a black linguist, once told me he hates the word "picnic". It's a word originated from "picking a ******" and beat him for fun at family outings. Of course, few people realize the true story behind this word anyway, so it's ok to use it.
But for other words, still, too much dirty history. So we better all watch our mouth.

Stop being silly. I don't use that language ever at all......and by the way, you have no idea as to MY ethnicity.
I merely object to censorship in a forum where children are not expected to be. Why stop there? Let's ban the word fuck too....that has all kinds of negative ramifications and is considered offensive by many people. We should not use the words rape, murder, war, slavery, torture...or any other word that people might have negative reactions to.
Did you here about the LA concilmember how objected to the use of the word "niggardly" by another member? It is a sailing term from the 16th century regarding a ship that has sloppy rigging, and has NOTHING to do with race, but this is how silly we are getting.
