Yet another reason to hate mascots.
When I lived in NJ, I used to go to about 25 Devils home games/year. Well, they used to have this dumb fuck walking around in a Hockey Puck outfit, and he was a really irritating shit. He actually got fired for feeling up female fans, too.
Anyway, one night I am going thru the hallway, making my way to the gate to get to our seats. Puck face is standing there, waving at folks. I walk by, the douchebag kicks me in my ass. Like that was a smart thing to do. I'm normally very mild mannered, but I wound up chasing that bastard a good couple of gates, with my brother-in-law grabbing on, trying to hold me back. That asshole in the mascot suit must have been a short track man, because even though I'm pretty quick, he was gone. I hope he shit his pants.
The next season, when they un-veiled the "NJ Devil" mascot character, a bunch of us in the stands all started sharing stories of what a shithead the last mascot they had was. Seems I wasn't the only one who wanted to throw him a beating.
