Yeah local attachment or they just don't want to leave what they know.
You know people are notional and some just don't need or want something 'more'. I met some of the hubbies family that live in the absoLUTE middle of nowhere in Indiana... they will be there until they die. Drive 90 miles each way to work as well. THAT is attachment!!!
I've been well off more than once and poor as often. I really don't care about the money too much. Food to eat, bills paid and some money to spend is all thats needed. But I'm a city girl. So I have to at least be CLOSE to one. ;-) More than 45 mins away and I started shaking. SHOES!! Gotta get back for SHOES!! Oh yeah, money for SHOES! lmao
(And I'm barefoot as often as not!)
