I used to work for Telus & it's a joke of a company. I wanted to find out about getting a second net connection at home & phoned to find out what they're charging for DSL these days. They wanted $200 up front for the modem, so I went with Shaw cable instead. Awesome service, great speed, totally happy with it.

But Telus...charged my fucking phone bill the $200 even though I didn't order or get the DSL service! I called them 3 or 4 times, always assured that the charge would be removed from my bill. Eventually I ended up having to pay it because I got a disconnection notice. Fuckers!
