Americans will never put up with "Marshall law" they believe in the illussion that they are a free society much too much to take that.

Is a free society one that will allow such things as the Macarthy trials, fighting a war in a country of no interest, no threat and still no real connection with it? I'm talking about Vietnam a war to spend money on munitions.

Could it's President be murdered and the enquiry afterwards little more than a joke to provide a cover up?

Would a free society be ruled by two parties with little to no diference to choose from and the best men they can offer the electorate is Bush or Gore?

Would a free society lock people up without trial and break UN laws?

I love America and it has much to praise, but it's idea of "Freedom" is not one of them.
