Ibill finally getting tougher on check fraud?

The irony of this is that I just talked to an Ibill employee about online check fraud last week. I'm sick of the check fraud, and I asked if they had any plans to do something about it, because if not, I'm pulling checks. The person I talked to didn't know of any planned changes for online checks... But now today in CMI I find this:

----------

Online Checks Product Enhancements

Dear Clients,

In an ongoing effort to improve the functionality of our online check product and reduce fraudulent transactions, we will be releasing several fraud related product enhancements. These enhancements include an internal negative database scrub and proprietary fraud detection tools. In addition to these enhancements, we will be implementing a fraud attempt lock-out tool that will further reduce the frequency of unauthorized transactions. It is likely that you will notice a reduction in revokes and a corresponding increase in first time sign up declines for online check transactions.

You will NOT be required to make any programming changes.

We are committed to improving our services in order to deliver unsurpassed processing capabilities.

----------

Thank you, Ibill, for finally doing something about this! I'll give checks a little while longer now, to see how this goes... Because when checks are good, they do tend to rebill like a motherfucker!
