I guess you could blame Reagan for this whole mess.

Dating back to Lincoln, an American Prez died every 20 years or so in office. That streak was stopped in the 80's (remember Ronnie getting shot back in 1981 and surviving?)

So, if Hinkley had been successful...it would be gw's time now.
But who belives in stuff like that?
